Chapter 1 · A Call to Listen
God often speaks to us when we are sleeping. One night in early September of 2020, I had a dream that I will never forget.
In my dream, I saw a big book in front of me. I knew it was special. As I was looking at the empty cover, I could see letters turning into words and beautiful gold ornaments forming. At first, I didn't understand what kind of book it was. It was shining. When all of the words appeared, it read, “THE BRIDE IS ASLEEP. AWAKEN.” On the spine, it read, “A CALL TO LISTEN.”
All of a sudden, the book was in my hands, and I opened it. The first thing I saw was an empty table of contents. I looked through the pages, but they were all empty and blank. Immediately I heard the voice of the Lord say…
“My people can't hear My voice!”
I was stunned, because the dream had felt so real. I knew God was calling His sons and daughters to come out of their slumber and listen for His voice. The more we listen and get into His presence, the more the pages in the book will be filled with His amazing plans and dreams for our lives.
