“I am happy to have known Glory for over twenty-seven years. We met when assigned to work together as hospice on-call nurses for after-hours and weekends. We were a dynamic duo, like Laverne & Shirley, and we cherished our roles. (But we never could remember which one of us was Laverne and which one was Shirley.) We felt privileged to be a part of many patients’ journeys at the end of the road. I have always known Glory to be committed to knowing Jesus and making Him known. She has brought so much love and laughter to those around her. Her book is spirit-lifting. She beautifully weaves these true hospice soul-care stories into teaching moments. Get ready for a nonstop out-of-this-world adventure.”

“God has gifted Glory ‘Dot’ in caring for the dying both physically and spiritually. She points those in their last days to Christ through His Word. Hebrews 9:27 tells us that it is appointed for men to die once but after this the judgment. She writes in a way that is easy to read with real life experiences and practical help for those serving the dying. I very much enjoyed working with Glory as we cared for patients and families as hospice nurses. Our call names for each other were Rebel 1 and Rebel 2, though we never could agree on which one was which. But one thing we did agree on was we were both saved by God’s grace.”
