Walking in Confidence and Boldness

Walking in Confidence and Boldness

There is a boldness inside of you that has yet to be fully released. A confidence that is not rooted in what you can do, but in who God is in you. You were never meant to shrink back, to second-guess yourself, or to live in hesitation. You were created to walk in authority, to stand firm, and to move forward without fear.

“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7, NIV)

Timidity was never part of your design. The spirit inside of you is powerful. You have been given love to walk in compassion, power to overcome every obstacle, and self-discipline to stay the course when things get tough.

“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.” (Hebrews 10:35, NIV)

Have you ever felt the urge to step forward but pulled back instead? Have you doubted whether you were truly ready, whether you were qualified, whether you had what it takes? Confidence is a gift, and it comes with reward—but only if you refuse to throw it away.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13, NKJV)

It’s not about your strength. It’s not about your ability. The confidence you need is not found in how prepared you feel—it is found in Christ. His strength is more than enough for what He has called you to do.

“The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.” (Proverbs 28:1, NIV)

Lions do not second-guess their authority. They do not shrink back. They walk in their identity. And you are called to do the same. Righteousness gives you boldness. It gives you the ability to step into places that once felt intimidating.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9, NIV)

Fear is not your portion. Courage is. Strength is. You have already been given everything you need to walk forward with confidence—because you never walk alone.

“If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31, NIV)

What could possibly stand in the way of what God has called you to do? Every fear, every doubt, every insecurity—they hold no weight when placed next to the power of God. The One who called you is also the One who goes before you.

“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.” (Isaiah 54:17, NIV)

The attacks may come. The doubts may whisper. The obstacles may rise. But none of them have the power to stop you. Confidence comes from knowing that no weapon formed against you can succeed.

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” (Proverbs 16:3, NIV)

You don’t have to worry about how things will unfold. Your job is to commit your way to the Lord. His job is to establish the path before you.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.” (Jeremiah 17:7, NIV)

Confidence is not about arrogance; it is about trust. When your confidence is rooted in God rather than in yourself, there is no situation too big, no challenge too great, no calling too intimidating.

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” (Isaiah 40:29, NIV)

Even when you feel tired, even when the journey feels long, He strengthens you. Your boldness does not have to come from an endless supply of your own energy—it comes from Him.

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1, NIV)

Faith is confidence. It is walking forward even when you can’t see the full picture. It is trusting that the God who began a good work in you will complete it.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6, NIV)

Confidence and anxiety cannot exist in the same space. Boldness comes when fear is laid down in prayer—when worries are surrendered and trust takes their place.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14, NIV)

You were never meant to live small. You were not called to hide. Your voice, your calling, your presence in this world matters. It is time to step forward.

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16, NIV)

Boldness starts in the presence of God. When you approach Him with confidence, He fills you with everything you need to walk in His calling.

“You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways.” (Job 22:28, NASB)

Speak boldly. Walk boldly. Stand in faith, knowing that when you align your life with God’s will, He establishes your steps.

Confidence is not a feeling—it is a decision. A decision to trust. A decision to step forward. A decision to believe that God is who He says He is.

Now, walk boldly in what He has called you to do.
